A Black Gram Cultivation Project has been launched, centered in the Vavuniya District, benefiting 600 farmers. Under this initiative, farmers are provided with the necessary seeds, practical training through farmer field schools, and a structured plan to introduce value-added black gram products to the market.

The total expenditure for this project amounts to Rs. 7.5 million.
