The rehabilitation of Pahala Bakmeewewa Mahawewa commenced on January 20, 2024, with the esteemed presence of Hon. Mahinda Amaraweera, Minister of Agriculture and Plantation Industries, who graced the event as the chief guest. This program is being implemented by the Smallholder Agribusiness Resilience Project (SARP) with the financial support of the International Fund for Agrarian Development.
