A successful workshop took place at THE GRAND LEISURE VILLAGE in Anuradhapura on January 4, 2024, where the Smallholder Agribusiness and Resilience Project (SARP) made significant strides in raising awareness and strengthening leadership skills among SARP Partner Agencies’ staff. Experts such as Professor Thaksala Serasinghe, Jayalal Chandrasiri, and Lasantha Gunarathne shared their insights on various aspects of the project, while Dr. Ranil Sugathadasa, a Senior Lecturer at the University of Moratuwa, delivered a motivating speech to inspire stakeholders.
The workshop featured valuable training in Agro enterprise and FBS by Mr. Jayalal Rathnasiri, as well as discussions on social inclusion, institutional matters, sustainable practices, and growth opportunities in agriculture and livestock components.
Mrs. Sandhaya N.G. Abesekara, Additional District Secretary (Land), District Secretariat, also delivered a guest speech, adding further depth to the workshop.
