A program on Awareness of Gender Development, Responsiveness, and IFAD Gender Strategy was held 2nd February 2024 at the SARM PMU for the staff of SARP. The aim of the program was to enhance the staff’s understanding of gender development and responsiveness, including their application in SARP project activities.
The program was conducted by Dr. Harishchandra Yakandawala, and it provided valuable insights and knowledge on the importance of gender development and responsiveness in the context of the SARP project. The staff members were able to gain a deeper understanding of how to effectively integrate gender considerations into their work, as well as the IFAD Gender Strategy.
Overall, the program was a success in raising awareness and improving the staff’s knowledge on gender development and responsiveness, which will ultimately contribute to the advancement of gender equality within the SARP project
