In a bid to boost the economic prospects of small-scale farmers, the Smallholder Agribusiness and Resilience Project, with financial backing from #IFAD, is set to roll out a Farmer Business School (FBS) program on January 30, 2024, in Kudagalenbidunuwewa.
This initiative aims to empower ordinary farmers to transition into entrepreneurs by equipping them with the skills to identify profitable, market-oriented agro-enterprises. The FBS, developed by the FAO, will play a pivotal role in transforming traditional farming practices and enhancing the income potential of farmers.
